Do Not Buy the Colorful Illustrations 93°C book!
All images and artist interviews in this book were plagiarized from the LCS website with no credit to Darren Di Lieto or LCS at all, and a mess of credits to the original artists. There’s even a CD included with all the work, making it seem like copyright-free clip art. You can read more about it here, on Darren Di Lieto’s personal blog.
I’ve posted my work on LCS a lot but have no idea if any of my own work has been stolen. Just hoping that I don’t get that dreaded email telling me that it has been. My work is not in the book. You can see the every page in the book here.
I haven’t seen the book myself, but I can tell you right now that cover image is Fiodor Sumkin’s work. But how good can the images in this book possibly look? Copied from the web, they’re only at 72 dpi and the book being $100 doesn’t sound worth it, even just for the interviews. It all seems strange to me and I hope to find out more information soon.

This is ridiculous. How can he get away with something like this? I hope the word gets around so NO ONE else buys this book. Ugh, and it doesn’t even look good anyways.
Some people are so low.
And the cd offers all the work FREE?! That is just nuts.
