This was fun to draw, I think the crows are my favorite. Yes, I drew this exclusively for cards. The original will be in the holiday show.

‘Goodbye Letter’ all framed and pretty in my kitchen this morning, before I took it to the gallery. I’m just not sure if I’m ready to say goodbye. It might not sell, so maybe I won’t have to. This will be one of the three pieces in the holiday show, soon.

It’s trying to snow today and I am not amused.

I got this tiny laptop and it came with a webcam attached to the lid, so I’ve been using it a little bit for live painting on Stickam. I don’t really have a schedule but I’ve been painting more often. I’m kinda nervous about people seeing me work but I’ve really wanted to do live painting at shows and stuff so this might help me get over that. There’s a chat in there too, so if you catch me live, don’t be afraid stop in to tell me I suck.

I get anxiety when I see a lady walking towards me with a child (or multiple children) in her shopping cart, is that weird? I just get the urge to throw up and run away crying. If you’re a lady, who uses shopping carts, with children in them, AND you’re reading my blog, please don’t take this personally because I’m not talking about you. Thank you.

It was so pretty, I didn’t wanna leaf.

This is what you do when you don’t know what to do with yourself: you run away and roll around in dirt. I went on a walk at the park today because it was a really nice day. Everyone is always so surprised when it gets warm all of the sudden during the last days of October or early November, like it’s never happened before. I was just waiting for those last couple days of warmth and they’re here. But it’s bittersweet, because some people are going through hard times. I’m just not sure if it’s this way all the time or I notice it more during this time of year, when it gets deathly cold and it’s easier to be depressed. What’s amazing to me is during their hard times, people will still find the strength to help others.

My husband believes in me, trusts me, and supports any crazy/nonsense schemes I try to come up with. My sister is always giving out my business cards and telling people about my work (she’s so cute, she’ll call me to say “hey, i just posted like 5 bulletins on myspace for you”). And my friend always finds a way cheer me up. He made this:

I haven’t had time to seriously draw in a while because I’ve been too distracted with numbers and words. But somehow became the owner of 26 bottles of ink in every color. I’m sure something will happen when I finish drooling over them.
